After spending over 12 years as a university lecturer, textbook writer, cartoonist, author and photojournalist in Japan, I relocated to Eugene, Oregon. Current projects include exciting new articles for Intermezzo Magazine (gourmet cuisine & travel) three Asian airline magazines (Japan, China & Indonesia), high viewer websites, and promoting new and existing books.
My first travel articles were published during the late 80's in The Boston Globe. By 2000, I was producing stories nearly constantly for four newspapers, two weeklies, three in-flight and two monthly magazines. To date, I have published over 650 articles on travel, food, art, fashion and lifestyle, as well as two books on travel and three textbooks.
