Yangshuo, China, Li River sunset
The Li River (or more precisely the zig-zag mountains which line its banks) is the main reason that the city of Guilin is on the map for most travelers to China, but a much smaller downriver town called Yangshuo is more laid back and pleasant. While much of China’s skies are covered in haze, whether from pollution or airborne dust, here it creates a splendid effect upon the mountains at sunset.
