Venice, [s] Doge's Palace [11x14”]

The palace residence of the Doge of Venice, supreme authority of the former Venetian Republic, was built as a masterpiece of Gothic architecture in 1340 near St. Mark's Basilica and St. Mark’s Square, the main landmarks of Venice in northern Italy. The interior has works by artists like Titian, Veronese, Tintoretto, and splendidly decorated rooms, while loggias run along the facades that overlook the lagoon.
